    Question Salary Cap Proposal Vote

Moving onto a more interesting topic - please vote in the poll on the salary cap starting next season (2061).

We are currently at 55 million. The options will be to stay at $55, go to $60, go to $65, or go to $70 million.

I will leave the poll up until the draft in 2060 on July 15th.

Please indicate how you voted in the thread.

I voted for 70 million. .Scouting and Development shouldn't be so constrained

60 Million. Incremental jumps are better in my opinion.

I like the idea of one day having $70 million and having Scouting and Development unhindered, but I agree with jagreen and think incremental changes are best.

I went w/60. The higher you go, the fewer decent free agents are on the market. The good owners will simply pull away from the rest because then they'll be able to keep that $2m backup catcher instead being forced to make a roster decision that might benefit one of the weaker teams.

    And $60 million it is.

    Re: Salary Cap Proposal Vote

As discussed, the salary cap is now $60 million!

We can hold another vote after the next season or two to see if we want to make any additional changes.
