    Hard Salary Cap Leagues

A league's posted salary cap is a soft salary cap. Once a team reaches that cap, they can't sign free agents, or make trades that increase the team's salary. However the players on the team still get raises in the off season, and draft picks are still added on July 15th, so teams can be playing well above the posted salary cap.

There are plenty of leagues which have a hard salary cap...in other words, all teams must be under a certain salary threshold on April 1st (or some such date) of every season. Here are the hard salary cap leagues that I'm aware of:

    $75 million

    • Historical Replay
    • MLB World
    • Sandlot

    $70 million

    • Caribbean League of CSFBL

    $65 million

    • Triple Crown Baseball
    • Amateur Baseball

    $60 million

    • A Star Is Reborn
    • Beer League
    • Beta
    • Chi Beta Federation
    • Cooperstown's Finest
    • MLB Str8 Sweetness
    • Negro League Tribute
    • The Classic League
    • Two Major Leagues

    $55 million
    • CSFBL Justice
    • League of Champions
    • Moneyball
    • Relegation League

    $40 million

    • Penny Pinchers ($35 million active)

    Custom

    • Tilted Tables (Various caps)
    • World Baseball Classic ($65m/$60m/$55m/$50m by division)

I hope this information is helpful. I'll keep it updated as needed

This list wasn't meant for you Tino. For you, I'm working on a list of leagues that Boicey isn't in, you know, until you're ready for the majors

now stop bombing my stickied threads. it displeases me.

Due to it's free agency, PGML often functions like it has a hard cap. It's rare to see a team over the $60M soft cap between the start of the season and the draft.

You can add Star League Baseball to that list, with a $70M cap for the San Diego Stars, and a $60M cap for everybody else.
It's a beat-the-evil-empire challenge. (The official cap is $75M, so as to allow the FOA to make it more possible.)

Some people might get some pleasure out of hate
Me, I've enough already on my plate
People might need some tension to relax
Me? I'm too busy dodging between the flak
What you see is what you get
You've made your bed, you better lie in it
You choose your leaders and place your trust
As their lies wash you down and their promises rust
You'll see kidney machines replaced by rockets and guns
And the public wants what the public gets
But I don't get what this society wants
