Here is a Classic pitcher - batter matchup that does provoke some color commentary

AWOL iNC. Multiple Personality Disorder - owners: Percy Pinetar, passball, Bitmore and Rebuilder - "I'm in competition with myself and I'm losing." - Roger Waters
Assessing my teams, and the leagues that I am in since I just got back to CSFBL. I like leagues with solid ownership that participates and trades, $60mm payroll or less, little or no deliberate tanking, live drafts, and league commissioners that care for their leagues.

can't forget about this guy in ReMake. he does have a tendency to be late to games and snack a bit during the game though.

I love the names. Skritchy beat me to posting the Chicken, but the same team in Knights, called the Chicago Syndicate, used to have an aptly named middle reliever - Al Capone. (Now retired - or else in prison.) I will admit that I signed him out of free agency strictly because of his name.

But my current favorite is this guy: http://www.csfbl.com/player.asp?playerid=106733 (So where's Pinky?)

I'm still waiting for a Winthrop McWinthrop sighting....

Have we ever addressed why there are so many Winthrops? Is it Brian's middle name or something?

Jeez... this is hysterical. And here I was thinking that names that combined two different ethnic backgrounds - like, say, Jose Atkinson - were pretty amusing. If I had **** Smoker on my team I think opponents would just concede the match on principle.

Smokey Blunt is my vote for best name ever, though. But yeah, how did a first name like Unknown get into the table? Can you imagine that there is such a player in MLB history?

My contribution: a gentleman named Xavierlada Munger.

    http://www.csfbl.com/player.asp?playerid=964746

"Munging", I believe, is slang for a particularly creative, um, act, involving dead people.

And his first name is just as zany.
