    Playoffs 2032

    http://www.csfbl.com/standings.asp?s...&show=playoffs

After holding off Granite City for the wild card spot via tie-breaker, I had mixed feelings about Manchester's chances against division champs Yoknapatawpha County. Defending World Champs YC led the entire league with 105 wins, and was awarded with 9 (!) All-Stars. I really liked my rotation, but those All-Stars for YC included three starters and their closer.

After losing game 1 to a walk-off grand slam, the Divided came back in games two and three with a fury, beating YC by a combined 18-6.

The Spotted Horses were able to tie things up in game four, but only managed a single run in games five and six, allowing Manchester to take the series and pull off one one of the bigger upsets that I've been a part of.

That is a large upset indeed. Horses were the clear repeat favorite. It's a free for all now.

Altoona somehow managed to come back from a 3-1 deficit to knock off Houston in 7 games. We did this despite major managerial error failing to set the proper pitcher for game 7. Just goes to show the importance of pitching depth and not having a complete scrub for a 10th pitcher. King managed to survive 11 baserunners over 5 nerve-racking innings of 3/2 ball to strike ratio while only giving up 1 run.

After the game coach Shuyande remarked to reporters, "I just had a feeling Harold (http://www.csfbl.com/player.asp?playerid=3690560) was primed for a big start. Sometimes a manager has to go with his gut on some decisions."

Congrats. The games were closer than some of the scores indicated with a timely hit here or there breaking the game open. Good luck the rest of the way. I was really hoping for this one as our window is closing
