    1982 Playoffs

Feeling good about an upset of Austin- figured they would be tough competition and they were.

Detroit, looks like we'll be squaring off in the conference finals. Good luck to you, should be another tooth & nail series.

I hope my hitters hit and my scrubs stay hot. I lack the pitching depth, but I have some good stars. Good luck and may this be a pre-BAGI matchup.

Game 1 was a classic; let's hope the rest are that good.

Too bad Young had 7 walks.

Other than game 3, all of those games could have gone either way. You'll be a force next year, assuming the league is still around.

I'll admit- I'm afraid of the Papayas. They are on one of those upset streaks that is hard to stop.

It was a disappointing showing, however we should be a hair better next year. Good luck!

    Whalers,
That was a good series; extra innings in game 7. My aging pitcher, Charles Kelly isnt what he use to be but came up big throughout the playoffs.

He ain't as good as he once was, but he's as good once as he every was, huh? Thought when we won game 5 we might pull it out, but the Papayas are a tough bunch! Congratulations.

Ya, I thought so too. You have some very good starting pitching. I would say you should be the favorite to win next season.
