Richard Cummings, the 41 year old DH for the Sharpe Dispensers, just recently hit his 700th career homerun. Cummings has reached the milestone despite never hitting 50 HR's in a single season. He is currently 12th on the all-time list and leads all active players in career homers. When asked about the milestone Cummings said, "700 homeruns is great, but I've been in the league for 18 seasons and there's nothing like winning a World Series. We won it in 2012 but that seems like soooo long ago. I thought we had it last year after an impressive run and we fell one game short. I'd like to win one more before I go out. It'd be nice to leave on top."
