I don't play in the league, but it might make sense to change the rule now that the real life National League has a designated hitter.

Good Point. I agree with this. So, many non-participating owners : Leagues are just flat-out dead. I think either it should go to a vote, or the commissioners of the league should vote on this issue. This may have been a good rule, when leagues were active. But, it's not a very good rule for an inactive league.

Two teams have violations in the 1st 3 games. Indianapolis has 2 violations as Christopher Walk is $419, Charles Young goes down for 6 games

Florida has 3 violations as Paul Sanders is $437, Christopher Yang goes down for 9 games.

I would rather the owners send them down themselves, but if they don't get sent down, I'll send them down for the highest paid player in AAA at their position or a similar position. If there are no players in AAA, I'll bring up a lower minor player which I don't want to do at all.

I'm not really understanding the # of violations (the penalty and how it's calculated). I thought a violation was the # of games they had the illegal player in the DH role for ? So, twenty something games, let's say 25 (for an example X times 3 , would = a 75 game penalty) would be 75 games with their best player stuck in the mud at AAA.

That is what I thought would happen. And, it kinda brings a smile to my face as I type this out.

I voted to get rid of the DH, now I'm kinda regretting it- I think Rewster would want to keep the DH in place since he made the league and it's really the only distinct feature the league has : it's even in the league name - I know he is simulating the DH being a terrible hitter to represent actually being National League Pitcher type hitter.

So, I regret voting to get rid of the rule now.

I hope this rule stays in the league-

I'm only penalizing from the pause on.

I have contacted both Indianapolis and Florida, informing them about the penalty that they need to take care of. If they haven't take care of it, I will, but I would rather they do it themselves.

Charles Young, for Indianapolis, has been sent down to be kept down until 5/13.

Christopher Yang, for Florida, has been sent down to be kept down until 5/18.
