    Re: 2082 Season Talk

I would come back, but I have way too much on my plate to give a team the attention it deserves.

On a side note, wasn't Cooperstown's Finest supposed to be revived? What happened?

Looks like my Braves are close to the dynasty I hoped to build, of course with some key help from Newtz. Congrats to Runnys on another championship campaign!

    Re: 2079 Season Talk

Wow, and we lose after surrendering the lead in the 9th. Fitting for a team which has never reached expectations. Congrats to Grimm and Miami. With that, I'm out!

    Re: 2079 Season Talk

Again, I’m not leaving because of drama or because I dislike anyone, it’s simply because I don’t think this is a rabid league.

    Re: 2079 Season Talk

To the contrary, I've purposefully kept a low profile and helped wherever I could. There simply isn't enough owner activity to deem this a "rabid" league.

    Re: 2079 Season Talk

I don't think it's a fake controversy as much as it is a reality. There's no drama here, it just is what it is, nothing more. I have nothing against anyone in the league.

    Re: 2079 Season Talk

I understand my team is just entering it’s window of contention, but I do not feel this league is taken seriously by 2/3 of owners. For that reason, I’m stepping down effective at the end of this...

I have to agree here. I’m having to wait 3-4 days for other guys to respond to trade offers. For a rabid league, unacceptable.

    Re: Dale Bogner

Reminding everyone that I'm willing to part with all-world sluggers Dale Bogner and Keith Williams. Ideally, I'm looking for a starter and/or a quality middle infielder.

    Dale Bogner

We are prepared to move Dale Bogner this offseason should we find an acceptable deal. We are looking for one of either:

    - A package of picks & prospects
    - A 23-27 YO, 1/2-type starter

    Re: 2078 Season Talk

Remarkably, Kenneth Collins is 8-10 with a 4.27 ERA. Erwin Maddy has also been inexplicably bad, both pitchers are a huge reason why we've fallen off a cliff since mid-May.

    What makes this all...
