    Re: 2068 Winter Meetings

San Diego is looking for a big bat that can produce now, preferably a corner outfielder or 3B. I will take an older solid vet at 3B since I have prospects a year or two away. I'm currently running...

    Re: Hall of Fame Score

I've seen players with a HoF score in the low 40's make the hall, so 60 may be comfortable. I'd agree with 2XS though that 100 is probably the guarantee threshold.

    Re: 2000 Season Discussion

A little late on this, but Brian Cao is now the fifth player in Big League history to collect 3,000 hits. 3 out of the top 5 are now Sasquatches. Next up should be Jerry Connell of the Electric...

    Re: 2067 News and Highlights

Well, unlike last season, this seaon's Cy Young shouldn't be disputed. (I just jinxed it). Michael Gilbert set the all-time single season innings pitched record at 339.2 (Glenn isn't in the top 10),...

Sticky: Re: Big League 2000 Draft Thread

One last pick to go and then we're done. Draft order should be set, so please don't change any picks at this point. Also, I'm going to compose a draft rule sticky for the forum so that everything is...

    Re: 2000 Season Discussion

I don't think even I expected Funk to be as effective as he has for so long. His numbers are now just dropping off at age 39. Unfortunately, the West was so tough for so many seasons my spending...

Seattle Sasquatch SS Thomas Funk has become the 4th player in Big League history to collect 3,000 hits. Fellow Sasquatch Brian Cao, will inevitably become the 5th later this season giving Sasquatch...

Sticky: Re: Big League 2000 Draft Thread

So, there was a error in the draft table ... Ohio's pick at 24 should have been SS, Charles Robinson, not P Hugo Dahl. I'll re-message block 5 and hopefully this doesn't delay the draft too much.

On to Round Two. Round One picks are set, so don't mess with the #1 on your draft list. Way too many Smiths on the draft list...

Portland is up at #8. All other lists are in, so if that pick doesn't go to auto, this block will move fast.

Sticky: Re: Big League 2000 Draft Thread

I set the block one deadline at 11PM PST tomorrow, but I may stretch that since I miscalculated when the draft list drops (the Midnight PST/3AM EST sim) to give a full day for owners to scout and...

Yeah ... I almost feel a little guilty on that one. Larsen had a monster year, but Glenn beats him in nearly every stat category across the board.
