Hi, Only 2 teams have scored more runs then Elephants.......only 3 teams have allowed more runs then Elephants. Only 2 teams have won fewer games then Elephants. I see a starting pitcher in my future.

Antarctica ace Mack Gonzalez sets a new league record with 28 wins! Breakthrough year for him, especially after an awful sophomore slump, that show him log 309 IP and a strong 3.18 ERA.

With Gonzalez kicking butt, we have punched a ticket to the playoffs for the first time ever!

The league timeline has officially schism'd:

Forgot to change to 4-man rotation so a scrub started instead of Ledet. We lost game 5 in extras and now need to win out. Rio has such great luck in the playoffs

Plano's pitching has been so effective against Arlington that our season series (including playoffs) now sits at 11-9, Arlington. Now we're both on the brink of elimination (isn't that the best feeling? lol), so I decided to look deeper into the metrics before Game 7. Could I bring in Charles Ball as my ace in the whole? He hit .234 in 72 games as a backup this year, but he does have some pop in his bat (19 HR, 60 RBI in 110 career games). Annnnddd... nope! He's hit .184 (7-38) against Plano this year. Hopefully my starters can must more than ZERO RUNS (Game 6) in this next one!

Update: Incidentally, I have platooned Ball vs. LHP this year, and his Game 7 for is a LHP, and he did have 2 hits against him last time... I have some decisions to make in the next 90 minutes. But perhaps Epling can hit better than .190 this game...

Haha. Well, given that the (presumed) playoff streak will be starting after 6 .500 seasons rather than after a true (i.e. High draft pick) rebuild, infinity may be a tad difficult, haha. When starting from a rebuild 20 consecutive years is always my goal. Given current constraints, I'd be satisfied even with 8. Wouldn't be terribly shocked to miss the playoffs next year, though. The team really is patched together for the most part.

My best pitcher missed my entire 7 game series. I'd like to think he might have helped alittle?!? XXX has horrible luck in the league in general.

Rio is 7-0 when Swiger starts. 1-6 when someone else does

Good luck Track! This is the matchup the fans want to see. You're going to avoid Swiger in games 1 and 2. You should be happy we've played 14 playoff games so far!
