If it were up to me, we wouldn't be able to see "unscouted" ratings at all. Thereby putting even more emphasis on scouting and finding "diamonds in the rough".
I like this idea more than anything else presented in the thread.

The minors should not be expanded, but you should be able to keep an arbitrary # of players in either the LM or AAA such that you could have 15 in the LM and 5 in AAA.

Another good idea, there MeddlePal. I'm also with most of the repliers here who say that 20 non-active players total is more than enough. I've found if I start to get more than that, it's time to bring guys up, start trading, resist drafting 17y olds who need years in the minors, or sift through them and cut some of those 3rd rounders...

Further, I think the possibility to eliminate "zero" scouting could be done a couple different ways:

    - You have to be a member of the league to see player ratings at all.
    - You have to be logged into the website to see player ratings at all.

And maybe it could be an option that the Commish could set per league - perhaps for the Premiere/Private leagues...

Call it the "Scouting 1st" leagues.

Expand the LM's to 15 and add a little more talent to 3rd rounders..give a team thats really struggling, like one of mine a little more time to be compeitive

the ability to change the amount of players in the LM would be a great for Private leagues. I am all for increasing the limit to 15. It would increase trading(more chips to trade with) and give 17 and 18 year olds more value.

I agree, the draft needs more quality players.
And also expand the minors from 10-players to 25-players.
Plus like i've said before add a AA club.
The reason is simple some players don't have anything to prove at
    Low Minor.
    But,aren't ready for AAA yet.
And yes it helps bad teams get better, and promotes more trading.

No don't touch the draft. There is nothing wrong with the draft. I just think adding 5 more players to the LM or making it so you can have up to 15 players combined between your LM and AAA teams.

The minors system is fine how it is.

One thing I would change though is that you are not allowed to have anyone in the LM over the age of 25. I see tons of dead or "tanking" teams with boatloads of good older players just sitting in the LM.

Agreed. Perhaps players 24yr+ not on the active roster added to the draft list? I also like the idea regarding the inability to see unscouted numbers.
